see what happens when i'm bored on a friday night? We're finally having some Fall weather in San Diego. It's gloomy, cold, and there's a light sprinkle outside. This is one of my favorite types of weather and it was perfect today because i was feeling kind of sick. It justifies me staying in on a Friday night.

I guess I could do a review on Queen Helene's Mint Julep Masque since I brought it up already. This stuff is pretty amazing. I have pretty large pores and always have problems with blackheads on my nose. I try to use this once a week to really clear out the impurities from my skin. It also helps get rid of my excess oil. I always apply this at night after I have cleansed my face. I apply a thick layer around my cheeks and my nose area because that's where I need it the most. I usually keep it on for 15 minutes, but sometimes even 30. When first applied, it is really tingly but it subsides within minutes. I actually love the scent of this because it's minty fresh!

It's pretty easy to recognize when it's ready to wash off because you won't be able to move your face! It is stiff and if you go look in the mirror, you can see all your pores through the mask. That's what I love seeing! All of that gunk stuck in my pores for a week has been pulled out. Just wash it off with a washcloth and voila. You must look and feel your face after you wash it off! My face always feels like it's glowing and really tight. Did I mention a big tube is only $3.99 at your local drug store? If you don't have a mask in your skincare routine, definitely try this out.
